Salt sags morphology and genesis of Upper Kama potash salt deposit on the results of detailed gravitation prospecting

Бесплатный доступ

It is presented the results of quantity data interpretation of detailed gravitation prospecting based on the profile series through the well-known Durinsky and Borovitsky sags of Upper Kama potash salt deposit. The interpretation is made with using of horisontal gradients of the first and second orders and it is presented geological sections with 2-3 density boundaries. The comparison of these density sections with drilling data and other geophysical methods allowed to solve some issues with respect to morphology and genesis of above-named sags. Visually it is also shown that it should be use observed gravity increments but not Bouguer effect for studying upper part of section (to 100-800 m in depth). The reseived results have indicated that different hypsometry of paleobed presented by hypso-anhydrite starta caused different thickness of salt sedimentation while existing of Perm paleosea. The salts did not settled over paleoreef because of its elevation over low parts of paleosea.
