We provide the results of a morphometric characteristics investigation and a pollen vitality of Pinus radiata D. Don in the introductive conditions in the Southern Coast of the Crimea (SCC). The main anomalies of pollen development have been studied. It is established that the dimensions of individual elements of the pollen grain are characterized by a slight variability. High viability of pollen, as well as a significant variation in the length of the pollen tubes, were noted. The optimum concentration of an aqueous solution of sucrose was determined in laboratory conditions for the germination of pollen of P. radiata.
