Morfological and anatomic research of weeping willow bark and its hybrid with white willow

Willow bark is applied long ago in traditional medicine. Its preparation is eco-friendly in connection with high resource potential of the willow. Nevertheless in our country there is no pharmacopial article on these medicinal vegetable raw materials. Comparative morphological and anatomic research the weeping willow bark (Salix babylonica L.) and hybrid of weeping willow with white willow (Salix babylonica x alba (S.Salamonii Carriere)) also defined characteristic diagnostic signs. The obtained data allow to carry out identification of bark of these types of a willow.
