In this paper, we consider a comparative morphometric characteristic of the axial skeleton of sika (cervus Nippon) and noble (cervus elaphus) deer, namely, the cervical spine. In the course of the study, differences were revealed between the ceynus of the sika deer (cervus Nippon) and the noble (cervus elaphus) deer. As an identification of animals to determine their species, use the methodology for determining the morphological features of the structure of the skeleton departments. Many works have been devoted to questions of the morphology of the axial division of the ruminant skeleton [2,3], which made it possible to conduct a morphometric comparative characterization of the cervical division of sika and red deer.
