Morphometric criteria of reversibility of grade II bronchial epithelium dysplasia using various treatment methods

Morphometric examination was carried out before and after treatment of 59 patients having chronic lung diseases with the evidence of grade II dysplasia. Cytometric parameters of cells and nouclei were shown to be higher in patients of subgroup I (30 patients) than in patients of subgroup II (29 patients). The difference was statistically significant (p=0.003). Despite the various treatment methods performed, the outcome prognosis of grade II dysplasia was unfavorable in subgroup I patients as compared to that observed in subgroup И patients.
