Morphometric analysis of the Southwestern Timan region relief and predictive ecology-geological assessment of stability of the Tract-Sindorskiy section of the main gas pipeline in the zone of geodynamically unstable structures

The results of a morphometric analysis of the southwestern Timan region relief on the example of the Vymsko-Visher interfluves have been presented in the paper. Within the Tract-Sindor section of the main gas pipeline the Tract and Sindor morphostructural blocks have been identified, for which a predictive ecological-geological assessment of the geological environment stability is given. It is shown that the degree of seismic vulnerability of the main gas pipeline is higher when it crosses Sindor area, while for the Tract area the risk of emergencies is associated with the activation of geomechanical processes caused by suffosion and solfluffic processes. The data obtained increase the efficiency of the forces and assets use in the safe ensuring of gas trunkline operation in regions of geodynamically unstable structures.
