Energetic solar flares and coronal mass ejections: chromospheric manifestations

A brief description of phenomenological model of a single event solar flare - coronal mass ejection (CME) is given. This model is based on the analysis of images of series of events in different spectral ranges. It describes phenomena that occur in the process of development of flare+CME-type energetic solar events. The model has been constructed using data from observations of series of large flares (16.05.1981, 23.08.1998, 14.07.2000, 9.04.2001, 19.10.2001, 23.07.2002). A modified classification is proposed of chromospheric manifestations of events.
