The motif of road in traditional worldview of Yakuts

The article presents the results of the historical and ethnological analysis of the formation of the road motif in the system of traditional worldview and life of Yakuts. Basing on the materials of folklore and ritual holidays, shamanic rites the author reveals the mythological and ritual foundations of the phenomenon of roads and movement in space, and their objectification in the ritual practice.
