Personnel motivation in the modern world plays an important role in the work of an organization. The correct system of personnel motivation in the organization ensures the improvement of the quality of workers' work and increases labor productivity. The motivation system, as a labor management tool, should motivate employees of the organization to improve the quality of services provided, encourage specialists to develop and grow their professionalism. A manager who wants to achieve effective work from his employees should not forget about the need to motivate the work team. Knowledge of the motives of the activities of their employees makes it possible to carry out the process of life of the working collective more efficiently, taking into account the interests of all personnel. The article examines the actual problems of labor motivation of personnel using the example of the Housing and Communal Service, diagnostics of the prevailing type of motivation and analysis of employee satisfaction with work. Based on the results of the study, measures are proposed to improve the system of motivation in the organization.
