The motivic organization of L. Davydychev's prose for children

The article examines the motivic organization of the stories, written by the famous Perm children’s writer L. Davydychev. The semantics of some motifs (re-education, play, food, etc.) are analysed. The research data are Davydychev's works written in the 1960 – 1980's: “Hard, Full of Misfortunes and Dangers Life of Ivan Semyonov”, “Lelishna from the Third Entrance”, “Uncle Nick – Pope Popov – Can not Live Without Football”, “This Lovely Ludmila”. The research reveals the bond between the concepts of the motive and character; it attempts to create a typology of the characters in L. Davydychev's prose for children.
