In today's world, the impact of the media, including the press, on the development of political and social processes in the society is especially significant. It is naturally that authorities always seek to influence political behavior of the population, especially in the periods when the fate of the state directly depends on people voting. Herewith tools, which can be equally attributed to state and civil society institutions, are widely used. In any democratic community media`s destination is to demonstrate at times opposing positions in order to achieve certain results. In the same vein the British press acted, which played a significant role in summer and autumn events of 2014 in the United Kingdom.
