55-th anniversary of the A. Tsyb MRRC. Scientific and organizational activity of A. Tsyb medical radiological research center for successful development of radiology in Russia

Main trends of the Scientific and Organizational Department (NOO) activities and its contribution to the Development of A. Tsyb MRRC are presented. The department is working in close cooperation with all divisions of the Center. The NOO workers provide conditions for successful development of MRRC, achievement of its purpose - to become the premier radiological center, based on knowledge and competence of its people, the patient-oriented care and science, and implementation of its mission - to foster multi- and interdisciplinary approaches towards understanding the biological and human health consequences of radiation exposure. NOO focuses its activity on the development of competence-based competitive advantage of MRRC. The Center’s scholars are involved in educational and training activities, take part in breakthrough research into molecular radiobiology, radiation epidemiology, dosimetry, radiation therapy, radiation pharmacy, oncology. MRRC participates in international research and educational programs: the National Radiation Epidemiological Registry is WHO Collaborating Centre for research and training on radiation epidemiology, the Center organizes international research and educational events.
