The martyr Ioann – the advocate Ivan Mikhaylovich Kovsharov

Purpose: Consideration of the main aspects of life and activity of the advocate I.M. Kovsharov. Methodology: Author used a historical-legal method. Results: In work the main milestones of life and activity of the advocate I.M. Kovsharov recognized in 1992 the Saint Martyr are analyzed, the reasons in connection with which he was subjected to unreasonable criminal prosecution and a punishment measure in the form of execution are considered. Novelty/originality/value: Article has a certain scientific value as in it for the first time in the Russian legal literature the main aspects of life and activity of the advocate I.M. Kovsharov are investigated.
