Museum in the educational process of the Cossack cadet corps

Museum activity has taken its rightful place in the upbringing of the younger generation, the formation of the personality of a citizen and a patriot. The historical space, presented in various artifacts, affects the human consciousness through sensory perception and rational representation, which turns into knowledge. Museum pedagogy has its own specific means and methods of education and training. The article presents the role of the museum as a model of a multidimensional world, in which the experience of rational and sensory cognition is intertwined, and this necessitates the existence of museum pedagogy. The participation of the Cossack community in the implementation of educational work in a professional educational organization is described. The using different methods of involving students in project activities are shown. The actualization of the local history search activity and the role of museum pedagogy in the education of patriotism among students of the Cossack cadet corps are described in this article.
