Male as a victim of domestic violence: relevance in Russia

This article analyzes the spousal violence by women. The authors considered the forms of violent behavior and its most characteristic manifestation, as well as the males’attitude towards this kind of violent. The empirical basis of this article consists of jurisprudence and the results of the survey. The identified features are compared with the similar data which characterize the same problem in some developed foreign countries. The presented material might be interesting for further study of domestic violence criminology.
