Music culture of Russian emigrants of the first wave of the XX century

The article covers issues, related to the unique Russian culture of the first half of the 20 th century. The culture of Russian migrants was a self-sufficient world, retained the main spiritual and national traits of the lost motherland. The author of the article, using the memoirs of his contemporaries and some biographical facts, tries to deeply comprehend the meaning and contribution of Russian emigrants, culture to the development of Russian musical culture in a new way. This approach is actual today, when the dominance of anti-culture is noticeable.
