The musical life of the modern Russian province: for example of the activity of the Kemerovo State Regional Philharmonic Hall of B.T. Shtokolov

The activity of the Kemerovo state regional philharmonic hall of B.T. Shtokolov at the present stage is considered in this article. It is noted that the problem of studying of musical culture of areas, remote from the center, is connected with identification of typological and individual parameters of musical and cultural life inherent in it. The presented specifics of functioning of cultural life of the region reflect the Russian trends in development of creative projects, search of new forms of the organization of concert activity, expansion of genre and style borders, support of festivals and competitions. In a modern sociocultural situation the institution solves an important problem in creation of uniform concert space of the region and also becomes the musical and educational center, promoting association of listeners on interests, attracts new public, taking into account priorities and needs of various social and age groups of the population.
