Music festival for youth in the process of implementing national cultural projects in the Russian Federation

This article examines the place of youth music festivals in the structure of national and federal projects in Russia. The analysis of the role of these events as a tool for the implementation of the state cultural policy of the Russian Federation is given. A comparative characteristic is presented between the events included in the implementation of national and federal projects and private music festivals for young people. The directions in which music festivals can develop the goals of national programs have been identified and proposed, using existing festivals as examples.
