“In the service of peace and progress”: тhе Moscow international book fair of 1975

The article examines the prehistory of the famous book exhibition in Russia - the Moscow International Book Fair. Specialists of the Laboratory of Standardization and Normative Research of the Research Institute for Complex Printing Problems studied the book products presented at the "Book-75" exhibition. The exhibition described the state of publishing in the USSR and foreign countries. The participating countries presented the best publications on political, scientific and technical, art history, artistic and children's topics and the peculiarities of their artistic and printing design.
