Russian national policy in assessment and perception of South-Russian region population

The article analyzes the positions of South-Russian region population regarding national policy. On the base of empirical material, the authors conclude that while recognizing interethnic relations as stable, the population of the region emphasizes the dominant role of power structures in the implementation of national policy and the need for involvement of civil and religious associations in accordance with their real authority and influence on the life of the regional society.
