In modern state policy, a high priority is placed on the concept “national interest”. At the same time, the problems related to national interest have a long history, since Machiavelli and Boden. Undoubtedly, they have undergone great changes during this long period. Nevertheless, in order to further improve the existing doctrines of national security, it is advisable to turn to the evolution of the concept “national interest”, since at present the actual and effective concept of national security is based precisely by reference to national interests and to ensure their protection
