National projects of Russia in the transport sphere

Based on the analysis of regulations and analytical data, the article characterizes the progress of the implementation of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” and the transport part of the comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of the main infrastructure, which in essence is also a national project. The implementation of national projects in Russia after 2020 has slowed down, which is due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the need to redistribute the directions of cash flows caused by the actions of unfriendly countries in the context of a special military operation. Nevertheless, the implementation of all national projects, and especially in the field of road, rail, water and air transport, has a positive effect. Each of these national projects has its own goals and objectives, its own objects. However, there are enough funds from both the federal budget and funds from other sources to implement each of them.
