National strategies of “soft power” in the foreign policy of the USA, China and Russia: main directions and peculiarities of regional development

The article focuses on the national strategies of “soft power” in the foreign policy of the USA, China and Russia. The author analyzes the main approaches, resources, instruments, goals and results of using “soft power” by the named countries at present time. The national “soft power” strategies base on using of non-military instruments of influence in the foreign policy, demonstrate the conceptual views of the “desired structure of the world” by different countries and can be analyzed by a variety of criteria.
