National laws of the European Union countries on the protection of personal data

The article is devoted to the problems of legal protection of citizens' rights to privacy, personal and family secrets when processing personal data on the example of national laws of the European Union countries. The problem lies in the correlation of national legislation in the field of personal data protection with European directives. Special attention is paid to the domestic legislation of Spain, which establishes serious guarantees of the rights of individuals and legal entities in the processing of personal data, and establishes guarantees of digital rights.
