National project “Ecology” as an instrument for restoration of natural resources in Russia

This review article evaluates the implementation of the national project “Ecology” in 2019-2022. The problem of environmental conservation and careful use of natural resources is only getting worse every year. To solve this problem on a national scale, a national project “Ecology” was adopted, including federal projects designed to solve the problem of restoring a certain type of resource - “Clean Air”, “Clean Water”, etc. Despite the extensive degradation of land, a program document providing for their restoration not provided. Due to funding problems, some federal projects were reorganized. However, a significant part of federal projects is financed according to the budget schedule at almost 100%. Over time, two FPs “Clean Water” and “Implementation of the Best Available Technologies” were abolished, and the amount of planned financial investments was redirected to the implementation of the FP “Clean Air” and FP “Improvement of the Volga”. In conclusion, it is concluded that it is possible to change the situation with natural resources in the country using nature-like technologies.
