The system of the Nazi propaganda on the territory of occupied Crimea in 1942-1944 is analyzed. It is noted that this phenomenon has found no reflection in the historiography of the Great Patriotic War. The structure of the German propaganda headquarters named “Crimea” is studied based on the trophy German documents. The mentioned headquarters served as the principal body of the Nazi psychological warfare unleased on the territory of the occupied peninsula. The essence of the personnel staff and the ratio between German and local population making up the body of propaganda headquarters is analyzed. The main functions of the propaganda headquarters “Crimea” are revealed. The staff members of the center were involved with the propaganda aimed at such areas of life as education, mass media, cinematography, and radiobroadcasting. As a result of the conducted research a valid conclusion was made. Regardless of the efforts undertaken by the highly qualified personnel of the center and a far reaching net of the headquarters “Crimea” the biggest part of the local population remained immune to the Nazi propaganda.
