It has been a problem of oil saturation control layers at later stages of development, as well as in production wells. Radioactive research methods have a low depth and significant restrictions in the use for oil reservoirs with low-mineralized formation waters. Electric log is not applicable in the wells cased with metal pipes. The compromise reached in the implementation of the special operation of electrically non-conductive casing pipes and electrically non-conductive casing with a discrete conductivity. Their use is possible to carry out the whole range of research in electric logging cased wells. Industrial experiments and implementation of this technology on the giant fields of the Russian Federation - Romashkinskoye, Arlan, Samotlor showed high information obtained oil saturation monitoring results, which were subsequently used in order to intensify the development of productive strata. Thus, now it is possible to monitor the formation of oil saturation at any stage of development, while the share of specially equipped monitoring wells is a small percentage of the general fund of the object wells (6-20%).
