Annotation The essence of the tax and obligatory payments of the population of the Russian Federation is determined in the article. The structure and types of taxes and fees are considered. The main types of taxes and mandatory payments are characterized. The statistics of the receipt of taxes, fees and other mandatory payments in the consolidated budget of the Russian Federation in 2011-2017 are analyzed.
