Nano-technology as a science began to take shape at the end of the twentieth century, which was primarily due to the fundamental works of Norio Taniguchi and Richard Feynman and the invention in 1981 of a scanning tunneling microscope by Gerd Binnig and Heinrich Rohrer from IBM Zurich Laboratory (Switzerland). The rapid development of nano-technology began at the beginning of the twenty-first century and is associated with the approval and financing of national programs for the development of this branch of science in the USA, Japan and China. One of the essential achievements is the creation of nano-sponges that allow toxins to be removed from the body.
