In the North Urals and the Timan Ridge at fine masses filling hollows on the surface of placer gold were found numerous micro- and nanoparticles of gold, their size varies from 1 mkm to 100—400 nm. They are located in mica's (hydromica's) flakes and in iron hydroxides aggregates. Micro- and nanoparticles of gold have high fineness, their compound either include insignificant impurity of silver or is pure and it is in line with surface compound of the gold grains. Genesis of micro- and nanoparticles of gold is aligned with local surface dissolving of clastic gold in residual soils and placers, with it's reprecipitation and concentration in fine minerals of hypergenesis zones (micas, hydromicas, iron hydroxides).
