As part of this study demonstrated the efficiency of the use of ruthenium catalysts on the base of magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) Fe3O4-SiO2. The results, as well as the possibility of separation of the catalyst by means of an external magnetic field allow us to speak about the perspectives of the study of the catalytic system in cellulose conversion process in glycol - a valuable raw material for the chemical industry.
