Surface nanotribology in lathe machining

The article deals with the issues of nanotribology related to the study of cutting processes between the cutter and the chip. During cutting film formation, the products of deoxidation reactions of the machined steel, which are subjected to strong deformations and temperatures in the chip formation zone, are seized and smeared.
