Filling the tank of liquid using a vacuum

Бесплатный доступ

The process of filling the tank under vacuum is considered. At the beginning of the process, there is no liquid in the container. Then the gas (usually air) is pumped out of the tank. This article describes the stage of liquid suction into the tank. The peculiarity of the process is that as the liquid enters the tank, the volume of air in it decreases, and the pressure increases. This will continue until the pressure drop that causes the liquid to move is equal to the pressure of the liquid column. Mathematical models of processes are presented. The load characteristics of the ELRS-60 water ring vacuum pump are used.
