Directions of the state economic policy in the sphere of shadow economy control

The article reviews the main opinions and approaches dealing with the resolution of the issue of shadow economy in the Russian Federation. The author corroborates inefficiency of repressive methods (control system, increasing legislative pressure, upgrading of penalties) and suggests the measures aimed at the inclusion of the shady business into the official economy. It is concluded, that the effective state policy regarding the shadow economy is possible only with the simultaneous introduction of economic and administrative actions.
