The directions of development and the importance of crowdfunding in the Russian economy

Crowdfunding has been present on the Russian market relatively recently and the process of integration into this type of financing is far from complete. Within the framework of this study, the issue of its significance for the economic processes of the country at the current level of segment development is considered. The process of integrating crowdfunding models to the Russian economic environment is described. The specifics of crowdfunding as a method of attracting financing are revealed. The current structure of the national crowdfunding market is noted. A list of areas is given in which crowdfunding benefits from more traditional tools. For each of these areas, a brief description is given of the elaboration of crowdfunding mechanisms in the national market within the current level of development. The importance of crowdfunding for persons engaged in raising funds (borrowers) and persons engaged in investing funds (investors) is assessed.
