Directions of development of the payment system of the Russian Federation in modern conditions

The present study is devoted to identifying the main directions of development of the national payment system of the Russian Federation in modern geo-economic conditions. The paper analyzes the key parameters and indicators of the state of the payment system of the Russian Federation. The paper also examines the role of the national payment system in the face of sanctions pressure and its contribution to ensuring the sustainability of the Russian economy. The author assessed the effectiveness of the payment system by analyzing transactions performed on the territory of Russia using payment cards. The analysis of key indicators allowed us to conclude that the payment system of our country is at a fairly stable level. Based on the analysis of current trends, conclusions are drawn about the prospects and directions of development of the Russian payment system in the foreseeable future.
