Directions of restructuring and innovative development of enterprises in modern conditions

The article substantiates the directions of restructuring and innovative development of enterprises in modern conditions. It is established that restructuring is one of the main mechanisms for ensuring the innovative development of the enterprise and aims to eliminate or reduce the negative effect of a complex of external and internal factors on the financial and economic condition of the enterprise through the introduction of organizational, economic, technical and technological innovations. It is proved that when restructuring is carried out in a complex, it is necessary to combine measures of reform and reorganization of the enterprise. It has been found out that, in relation to the conditions of enterprises, the concept of «restructuring» is a complex transformation of activities for the implementation of organizational, economic, technical and legal measures aimed at transforming the structure of production, assets and liabilities of the balance sheet, management system in accordance with the requirements of the environment and the established development strategy, increasing sustainability, competitiveness and profitability enterprises. It is determined that the basis of restructuring changes in enterprises should be their orientation to the requirements of the market, a change in the approach to activities that provides for producing what the market needs. In these conditions, restructuring changes should be carried out not spontaneously, but permanently in order to achieve medium- and long-term goals based on a sound strategy for the development of the organizational and legal structure.
