Directions of socio economic modernization under the conditions of population ageing

The author analyses demographic dynamics using the results of the All- Russian population censuses in 2002-2010, as well as population projections till 2030. She shows that revision of the pensioning age should be introduced with the account of the measures for creating more jobs on the labour market, including jobs for elderly women, as well as with implementation of complex programmes aimed at preservation and development of the human potential of the ageing labour force, and overcoming gender stereotypes.
