The data of almost 50-years observations over the changes of phytoplankton communities in Lake Naroch are analyzed. Eutrophication and de- eutrophication processes are reflected in the quantitative parameters of phytoplankton development and its phytocenosis structure (diversity, dimensional spectrum of species etc.).
