The direction of a person intended to commit economic crimes

Introduction: within the framework of a scientific publication, the problem of the orientation of a person prone to committing economic crimes is considered. The authors analyze domestic and foreign studies related to the socio-psychological causes of economic crimes. Materials and Methods: the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, as well as the forms of statistical reporting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, served as the regulatory legal framework for the study. The main research methods are: content analysis of scientific literature, statistical. In addition, the methodological basis of the study was the general dialectical method of scientific knowledge, which is universal in nature, as well as the methods of logical deduction, induction, cognitive methods and techniques of observation, comparison, analysis, generalization and description. The results of the study: allow us to formulate a more accurate understanding of the socio-psychological content of the motivation of persons prone to committing economic crimes. Findings and Conclusions: the authors come to the conclusion that the orientation of the personality of an economic criminal is determined by a number of socio-economic factors. The materials of the scientific article will be of interest to a wide range of readers. In order to prevent economic crime, the main recommendation is to continue scientific research related to the study of the personality of an economic criminal.
