Stress-strain distribution of soil in active zone of reinforced concrete pile tips with various angles of pyramidal part

Бесплатный доступ

The research is devoted to stress-strain distribution in the soil in the active zone of reinforced concrete piles with different angles at the apex of the pyramidal part in the process of its immersion and operation. Experimental penetration of reinforced concrete pile models (scale 1:3 of the in-kind) into soil was made for determination of dependence between reinforced concrete piles capacity and frustum of their pyramidal part (basic angles are 180, 90, 60, 45). The pioneer tests of models were made for checking the possibility of piles penetration on the targeted depth and determination of models capacity and embodied energy. During the research geometric, mechanical and power fit was maintained. The tests are made in accordance with GOST 5686-94 «Soils. Field Test Methods by Piles». Special attention is paid to the determination of soil bearing capacity and the energy cost for its implementation.
