With the intensification of dairy cattle breeding, res-piratory diseases of calves remain one of significant problems. These diseases are related to the health of bulls, cows, heifers, i.e. adult population and a number of other factors. One of the main reasons is low level of colostral antibodies in calves to viruses circulating on the farm, which depends on the timely watering of colos-trum, its quality and required amount in the first hours and days of life of a calf. Therefore, on the farms it is necessary to carry out serological studies to determine the intensity of colostral immunity in calves to respirato-ry viruses, which will help to determine optimal timing of vaccination and the choice of vaccines, immunization schemes for more effective implementation of specific prevention on the farm and will reduce respiratory dis-eases of calves. The results of the study showed the decrease in colostrum antibodies in calves of ten days of age to respiratory-syncytial virus and viral diarrhea - diseases of mucous membranes of cattle, to fifteen days of age to viruses of infectious rhinotracheitis, viral diar-rhea, respiratory-syncytial, calves at twenty days of age, on average, antibodies were not found to viruses of in-fectious rhinotracheitis, viral diarrhea, respiratory syn-cytial, and adenovirus in low titers in two calves. For the purpose of specific prevention of viral respiratory dis-eases of calves on this farm for the formation of passive immunity from ten-fifteen days of age it is possible to use hyperimmune sera. For the formation of active im-munity it is expedient to introduce attenuated associated vaccines from fifteen days of age.
