Tension in the youth labour market: trends and methods of regulation

The article studies the situation in the youth labour market, presents a comparative analysis of the dynamics of the Russian and world indices. Particular attention is paid to the practice of internships through which graduates and students can obtain experience and knowledge for their further employment. For prediction of internship failure risk depending on the period of time spent by an intern in a company, the proportional hazard model has been developed. Application of the binary choice model has allowed the author to explore more thoroughly the factors that have significant impact on the successful result of internship.
