People's education in Mordovia in the years of the Great Patriotic War

The article is devoted to the development of the people's education system in the Republic of Mordovia in the years of the Great Patriotic War. The characteristic of measures carried out by the Government and people's education bodies which adapted process of studying in school to the wartime is given. The dynamics of changes in the net of schools and school children contingent as well as the fulfilment of the law "On General Compulsory Education" in the republic is presented.
