People's fairy tales as an integral part of the Khakassian culture

The article defines the fairy tale as an epic genre. The classification of the Khakass folk tale is described in terms of content. Ethnic genre features of the Khakass folk tale are revealed. Through the analysis of fairy tales ethnocultural links of the Khakass ethnos with other peoples are traced.
