Folk theatres of Urals in the arts system during the “developed socialism” epoch

This article examines the activities of Urals folk theaters as a major structural element in the art system during the epoch of social stagnation. The author reveals the main problems of the theatre groups, defines features of the repertoire formation. The specifics of the methodological and practical assistance to the folk theatres provided by the professional art institutions are studied.
