Population of North-West Caucasus according to the all-union censuses of 1937 and 1939: problem of data reliability

Population Censuses 1937 and 1939 were carried out in difficult social and economic and political conditions, which in its turn inevitably raises the question of the reliability obtained in the course of their data. Based on calculations by the author is trying to build a probabilistic model of demographic development of population of the Northwest Caucasus.
