Violations of the Russian punctuation standard in composite sentences of modern mass communication texts

The article focuses on the punctuation deviations in compound and complex Russian sentences connected both syndatically and asyndatically. Modern punctuation code actualizes several factors (peculiarities of formal structure of composite sentences and their components, specific means of syntactic connection, semantic relations between predicative groups, functional and stylistic parameters of the utterance). The author reveals the causes of violations of punctuation standard in the Russian press and Internet publications paying special attention to some variants of correcting these mistakes.
