Thrombosis and its consequences are a global problem of modern society. Of great medical and social importance is the timely diagnosis of factors that increase the risk of thrombosis, in particular, hyperhomocysteinemia (GHZ). Many aspects of the effects of GHZ on the blood clotting system remain the subject of lively discussion, despite the active study of the role of elevated homocysteine (HC) levels in the formation of hypercoagulation syndrome.
