External genital endometriosis: the view of a reproductologist

The article presents data on a comprehensive examination of 80 pregnant women who were previously treated for genital endometriosis and who received hormonal treatment for a long time in the pre-pregnancy period. The control group consisted of 50 healthy pregnant women. Enzyme immunoassay, immunoluminescent and biochemical methods, morphological examination of the afterbirth were used. All patients lived in an ecologically unfavorable region with a high technogenic load. As a result, the factors that aggravate the course of pregnancy and childbirth, critical gestation periods, pathophysiological mechanisms of the complicated course of pregnancy are identified, which makes it possible to justify methods of prevention and treatment in this contingent.
